Dog knocks over guitar while running with reckless abandon

It's hard to anticipate when these random bursts of energy will hit. It seems the only way to cope for this dog is by leaping over interfering objects (ie. bed) and running in circles around the house with little consideration given to unsuspecting (and valuable) bystanders, like guitars.
