EP 34 – MAGA CHURCH MOMS STAND UP AGAINST PORN IN LIBRARY

This week’s episode is a discussion of about two meetings attended by Cornerstone Church members to stop pornography from being more than protected in our local Mt. Laurel Library. Pastor Jeff explains the events below in his weekly “Pastor gram” to the congregation.
When I killed a bee against the side of my house, I knew there was a nest behind the aluminum siding when a swarm of bees emerged. Carpenter bees are not usually very aggressive, but the females do have stingers and when protecting the nest, they will sting you. I took one sting on my elbow and another on the tip of my ear. If I hadn’t turned my head at just the right angle at the very last second, that bee might have hit me in the temple :)
But the anger and indignation of that swarm of bees was nothing compared to what we encountered last night at the library’s public meeting. About 60 women and a handful of effeminate men, each of the guys looking like puppy dogs on a leash, led by their angry wives, swarmed the meeting. They were there to defend their nest.
I can understand bees defending their nest; I assume they have baby bees in the hive. But the most remarkable thing about these women was their reaction to my opening remarks, which warned them of a real and present danger to their kids. I told them about a book in our library that describes the obscene sexual behavior of a group of boys. The book “Flamer” presents these unimaginable sex acts in detail and with pictures! But the thing about this swarm of women is that their motherly instincts did not awaken like a carpenter bee’s would. Rather, so deadened was their femininity that they swarmed to protect the book! They demanded a sanctuary for the book, not a safe place for the children!
It was the clearest sign of God’s judgment on a society that I have ever seen, and it was the least hopeful moment for the future of our country that I have ever experienced. I knew that feminism had eroded femininity, but I did not know that feminism had turned so many women into monsters. John Knox blew a trumpet against a monstrous regiment of women, and now more than 400 years later, we are facing a league of women who pose an actual threat to the safety of children.
But in the midst of the darkness of that library meeting, light suddenly burst forth (Matthew 5:16)! It was the light of some godly women. The Cornerstone men did a great job too, but the room already had a category for us. In that room, anything the guys said would be written off as toxic masculinity anyway. But the Holy Spirit fell on our women in a most powerful way (Acts 2:17-18). After hearing what the godly women said, even if the monstrous women booed and hissed in the moment, be assured that the monstrous women didn’t sleep well last night. Pray that the Holy Spirit brings some of them all the way to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our women taught what is good (Titus 2:3-5). These godly women warned the monstrous women that the very books they are trying to protect in “a safe space” are contributing to aberrant sexualization and horrible abuse of young people, including abuse of young women.
The godly women exhorted the monstrous women to be parents! Minors are not supposed to be exposed to anything and everything; it is your job, parent, to protect them. It took courage to say that.
By the way, the way the monstrous women responded only proved the point. They kept saying that the more they keep their children away from things, the more their kids want the things they restrict. Well, then, you testify against yourself that you have not taught them to love God enough to obey the Fifth Commandment! Good parenting aims to teach children to obey God from the heart. Good parenting teaches children to honor their father and mother, not to disregard them. To acquiesce to the opposite is to abdicate what it means to be a parent.
The reason the monstrous women exhibited the strongest vitriol against the speeches given by the godly women is that the monstrous women had their very parenting called into question. And that was precisely the thing that needed to happen. Any mom who defends a pornographic book and seeks to make it available to children has abdicated her role as a parent. She is a political animal, even a religious zealot. Her commitment is to secular humanism and the LGBTQIA agenda, even if her children be damned. She is a monster, not a mom.
Almost no one in America is willing to call that spade a spade. But last night, our godly women were willing to say it. Godly women, your reward in heaven for what you did last night will be very great. You took bee stings on earth; you will wear crowns in heaven.
