A funny thing happened to Nick Arden (Cary Grant) on his way to his honeymoon suite. He meets his wife, Ellen (Irene Dunne) No, not his bride Bianca Bates (Gail Patrick) He meets his wife who was lost a sea seven years ago and presumed dead. Ellen was actually shipwrecked on a deserted island with Stephen Burkett (Randolph Scott) and were recently rescued.
