Inside Malta's MOST Bombed City 🇲🇹

Today, I visited one of Malta's most historically rich cities, Birgu (also known as Vittoriosa), famously recognized as the most bombed place on earth, during World War II. Walking through the narrow, timeworn alleys felt like stepping back in time, with each corner revealing a new glimpse of its storied past.

I wandered along the beautiful Birgu Waterfront, where the glistening marina was dotted with luxurious yachts, strikingly contrasting the city’s rugged, historic architecture. The atmosphere was peaceful, yet you could feel the weight of history all around you.

As I explored further, the breathtaking views from the peninsula stretched out before me—an endless panorama of Malta’s stunning coastline and the surrounding fortified cities. The blend of ancient fortifications, shimmering waters, and the quiet charm of Birgu (Vittoriosa) left me in awe.
