We live in a world in which the classic family model, in which the woman is the guardian of the home, and the man as the breadwinner, is becoming less and less relevant and applicable. Today, men in Western countries are increasingly more open to going on maternity leave themselves, giving women the opportunity to build a career and engage in professional development, and independently take care of their newborn children. Fathers personally change diapers for babies, bathe them, feed them, put them to bed, sing lullabies and calm them when they begin to show the first signs of capricious behavior. These efforts lay the beginning of a very important relationship between the child and the father.

The bond between a father and a daughter is something special. Daughters remain their fathers’ princesses their entire lives, even when they become grown women, and even when they have children of their own. This is a fact that will never change, regardless of how advanced or primitive society grows to be. And nobody can take away this title from the daughters. Yet, sometimes fathers can be overprotective. And that is mostly the case when the boyfriend of their daughters comes in question.
