Batroun Tourism vs Lebanon’s Abandoned Bjerrine Ghost Village 🇱🇧 (2 of 3)

In this exciting second part of our Batroun adventure in Lebanon, we contrast two starkly different worlds in Lebanon: the lively Batroun Tourism and the eerie, abandoned village of Bjerrine.

We begin by stepping into Bjerrine, a ghost village frozen in time, abandoned during World War I, where you can still feel its haunting past in the silence of the ruins and the historic St. Elias Church. After a spooky adventure, we head back to the beach at Almaza Bay, only to be turned away by strong waves, which sends us to the serene Orchid Beach Resort for a relaxing afternoon.

Back in bustling Batroun, we explore the Old Souk, meet the talented Lillian Saadeh, who crafts handmade jewelry, and stop by Khan El-Saboun for some authentic Lebanese essential oils. The day wraps up with a refreshing lemonade from Naji’s as we take a peaceful sunset stroll along Batroun’s scenic coast.

Stay until the end for an exciting preview of our next adventure!

Watch, explore, and experience the contrast of ancient and modern Lebanon with us.
