Question :how do you defend yourself with a sword when the bad guy has a gun?

It all depends on what sword you bring. The sharpest of swords comes not out of a sheath, but rather it comes out of your mouth. Defend yourself from a gun a giant, a lion or the most advanced army on earth. do you not know plenty of people in The Scriptures defended themselves with nothing but their hands...(Judges 14) Staffs spears, or even ox goads 2 Samuel 23)

Crossbows are super nifty for a single shot, and video entertainment. You can’t keep it constantly loaded or even remotely discrete and I can’t use it to do anything else. Where as a machete is a tool you can use continually to clear land, dispatch animals process food, dig in the dirt, build houses (seriously I’ve built houses with one) and most of the time in close quarters... which nearly every (gun) encounter takes place.... a machete can overtake an opponent with a pistol. Opponents with firearms within 25 feet pretty much always lose to edged tools unless they already have their tool in hand...
