Unusual octopus

An underwater drone exploring the Pacific Ocean captured an unusual octopus from the genus Magnapinna at a depth of 3.3 km.

The elusive creature with very long tentacles up to 8 meters in length was first recorded in 1907, and since then only about 20 encounters have been documented with it. In the Tonga Trench, it was discovered for the second time in history.
