Woman's Fake $24k Check Scam Fails Miserably

On September 26, 2023 in Florida, officers responded to a call from a pawn shop regarding a woman attempting to cash a fraudulent check for $23,892. When they arrived, the woman told them that the check was from the US Treasury for "lost wages." This is body-cam footage of the events that followed.
