The Water Song - Mana O Te Wai

Ley Love Down is an initiative and movement dedicated to encouraging people out into nature to bring about wellness and a connection with Mother Earth with the intent of bringing balance to the Earth’s ley lines, portals/vortexes and chakra spaces.

One way to assist in this process is to bring positive intent and harmonious frequencies into these powerful spaces. This includes sound frequencies such as music, chimes, tuning forks, and song (to name a few.)

As co-founder of the Ley Love Down project, I recognise the need to inspire others to get out into the leys, portals and their vortexes, and sing, in order to bring about this balance.

Harmonious frequencies can be healing on so many levels. Our vocal chords are our innate musical tool for this purpose.

In April I began taking singing lessons with a beautiful soul – Charlotte - as there was a great deal of resistance within me in carrying out this goal. Due to many years of programming to shut down my voice.

One of my singing goals has been to learn the incredible Maori water song - Mana O Te Wai – which Murphy Ryland was kind enough to share with us all:

Murphy Ryland:

Charlotte helped me to feel comfortable singing the water song, and recently introduced me to her two musician friends Carolyn (flute) and Annie (cello) so that we could record the water song with accompaniment.

For those who feel inclined to do so, this track provides a back up to sing along to, within the leys and portal spaces.

Ley lines and water are intrinsically linked. Singing the water song into the ley lines will carry the healing/balancing frequency to all the water bodies with which the ley line intersects.
