Combat work of T-80BV tank crews of the West group of forces
Crews of T-80BV tanks of the tank army of the "West" group of forces, while carrying out fire missions in the area of the special military operation, destroyed the identified camouflaged positions, trenches, dugouts and anti-aircraft posts with electronic warfare equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Tankers of the "West" group of troops in the area of the special military operation are working on the front line and providing support to motorized rifle units of Russian troops, delivering powerful fire strikes against the enemy. The fire is adjusted using unmanned aerial vehicles, whose cameras record the hits. Tank crews practice shooting from closed and open firing positions. They successfully hit targets located at a considerable distance and out of direct visibility.
The footage shows the crew of a T-80BV tank leaving for a combat mission in the dark, several hours before dawn. This time, the tank crews are firing from closed firing positions. Commands for firing come from the command and observation post, which is located in a dugout underground. Here, if necessary, tank fire is adjusted. The tanks operate six kilometers from the front line. They strike positions, trenches, dugouts and anti-aircraft posts with electronic warfare systems.
Every combat operation of the tank crews of the Guards Tank Army of the "West" group of forces is effective. Using coordinates obtained with the help of UAVs, the crews destroy the enemy's manpower and equipment, forcing them to retreat further and further, ensuring the advance of our troops. The rear positions of the militants are also hit, disrupting their actions.
Having completed the combat mission, the crews hastily left their firing positions. This T-80BV tank crew has been in the special operation since the fall of 2022. The guys are all fellow countrymen. They stand by each other in any situation. And there have been quite a few of them in two years.
The crew came under fire and was attacked by kamikaze drones. The guys almost got hurt, but they continued to carry out their mission. And today, tank crews are also on combat duty. Closer to the enemy's front line. Doing everything possible to win. The successful completion of tasks is facilitated by comprehensive and timely provision of ammunition, fuel and lubricants, and equipment.
As the tank crews say, all necessary parts, spare parts, and shells are available. Everything that is needed is delivered promptly and on time.
T-80BVM is a highly effective tank. Unique alloy of armor, protection systems, active and dynamic, electronic warfare system, automatic control of weapons and optics, the machine itself is able to track the course of the battle, record the movements of enemy equipment.
