Last Call - Remakes; Sometimes They're Good!

When fans of films and television hear the word “Remake,” it almost always elicits groans and seething. And for the most part, rightfully so. Most recently, The Crow has been properly pilloried. But we are not talking about such ill-conceived remakes. Rather we are talking about a few examples where a remake may actually have been BETTER than the original. Also, we’ll suggest a few contenders of films that really deserve to be remade … as long as Hollywood doesn’t screw ‘em up.
