BMW F82 M4 M Performance Electronic Steering Wheel Upgrade DIY (2015-2020 BMW F80 M3, F83 M4)

There's nothing wrong with the original steering wheel in your F80 M3 or F82 M4, but it could be better. BMW offers a few steering wheel variants for the chassis, but none are quite as comprehensive as their M Performance Electronic Steering Wheel. The optional upgrade taps into the car's electronics to bring you shift lights and gear indication on the wheel's rim. Installation is pretty involved, requiring minor wiring, but with the right tools and following the DIY, it shouldn't take an hour or so.
