The Alderney UFO Sighting

On April 23, 2007, over the English Channel, an Aurigny Flight 544 is
flying from Southampton to Alderney in the Channel Islands.

Captain Raymond Bowyer, aged 50 at the time, is piloting. He had been flying for 18 years, and on this route for the past 8 years.

The plane is a 33-year-old Britten-Norman Trislander, and besides Bowyer, there are 8 passengers.

Before long, Bowyer sees a bright light in the distance. He thinks it is coming from Guernsey, 10 miles away.

As he gets closer he sees a spherical-shaped UFO. It is self-illuminating.

As the plane got closer the captain viewed it through binoculars and said: "It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area."
