Strange object following a plane

Weird object trailing plane

I only caught a few seconds on camera before it was behind clouds.

The trailing object appeared to be same altitude, trailing off to the side and behind a little, and had no contrail like the plane did.

Not sure if there is enough to analyze here but can any determine if they were at the same altitude or not? They would have to be separated 1000 feet vertically under FAA guidelines. Also sorry it’s not centered, I couldn’t see my phone screen in the sun well so I was looking at it with my eyes and hoping I had it framed good enough.

*edit* I tracked and zoomed on the object so its easier to see I didn't brighten or change any other options.
