Hospital after fast - but why? Good news - I dislodged Kidney "stones" and had infection.

I wanted to let you know that I ended up in the hospital yesterday. The last time I ate was at the pub lunch on the beach in Scotland and since then, I did a 17-day fast. I broke the fast because I wasn't feeling well physically or mentally, despite drinking plenty of water, Celtic salt, and taking my usual supplements along with some of Barbara O’Neill’s remedies.

I came off the fast on Wednesday, but by Thursday morning, I was in Darenth Hospital, passing blood in my urine—more than just specs, too. Mark made a joke saying, "Congratulations, DD, you just had your first period," which I thought was funny. My urine when not blood red was brown and had lumps in it and powder like substance.

They ran a full set of bloods and samples, and thankfully, everything came back looking good. The consultant and doctor think two things might have happened:

1) I likely had kidney stones for a while without realising it (one kidney, I has intermittent pain for about a year), and the fast may have dislodged them. That’s what caused the blood, lumps, powder like substance and discolouration in my urine.
2) They believe I also have a UTI, possibly caused by the stones, which is being treated with both antibiotics and natural remedies.

I just thought I’d give you an update.

I would also like to thank the friends that supported me whilst in hospital. Most of you didn't know about yesterday, Some that knew have been concerned about my weight loss, but all is fine.
