How to build Authentic, Building trust Dealing with Hate on instagram

As part of this week's episode of "this week in social media" , we reported some of the key takes from, Adam's newest podcast interview with Haley baylee.

One of the clips that was posted, Adam and Haley talked about if “production value” matters, as a creators on the platform, the honestly answer comes down, should you be “authentic” or not. So for example for me personally as someone who runs a video production business, it would matter a lot more than your USP ( unique selling point ) if you are running a marketing or video business. In Haley's case, her USP is more about what she said and how “funny” or not she is. And it is “clear” and looks and feels like she is making the content herself. Adam shared that production values should ONLY be turned up if it will help your goal of posting content.

And people should create because they love to do so, not because they are going to try to make money. So add more facts to showcase your “love” or “passion for the service or work you do”, if you are creating for your business or personal brand.

In another clip, they talk about how to deal with negative comments, One of the things adams did point out, was to is when Haley, “took the piss of herself as well, show that some things were fake ( from the sounds of it, that some of the negative comments talked about. )

That lead on to them talking how to build trust with “viewer” or “fans” , again it is leads into being true or “authentic” , by helping your viewer understand that you are human to and you will and may have made mistakes. Haley explained that if you are getting “hate” or “people are pissed at you” for a reason. So give them some understand and be honest if you are have made a mistakes but also may need to understand that the “shit view or comments” may come from something that hurt that viewers, so as garyVE talks about, should we lend in compassion and understanding.

They also talk about how to make money on social media and when should or shouldn't take a brand deal. I do agree that is a learning curve but comes from respect and understanding for your viewers that you are giving their time to watch your content. But also about being honest with them, love it or hate it. It is ONE of the keys ways someone can make sure they can create for full time. That can create more content and value to you as a viewers.
