UN EXPRESSES DISAPPOINTMENT OVER SUDAN EXTENSION OF TRANSITION

Nicholas Haysom, head of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), expressed deep regret as the UN backed the extension of South Sudan’s transitional period until February 2027.
