Snipers of the "Center" group of forces covered assault units during offensive operations in the Avdeevka direction

Snipers of the special forces unit of the "Center" group of forces covertly destroyed machine gunners of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and disrupted the rotation of enemy manpower in combat positions, covering assault units during offensive actions in the Avdeevka direction of the special military operation zone.

Having received the task, the sniper pair secretly moved to the area of ​​the combat mission. After carefully searching for a place to set up a firing position, the servicemen studied the enemy's actions, waited for the most suitable moment to deliver a pinpoint strike, and destroyed the target at the right moment.

Despite the difficult terrain, minefields, artillery shelling and the constant presence of enemy reconnaissance and attack drones in the air, snipers destroyed enemy targets at a distance of more than 1,000 meters. The effectiveness of shooting at long ranges is ensured by the high-quality training of each serviceman, as well as the provision of modern equipment, weapons and sniper gear, which includes domestically produced sniper rifles, various optical sights and thermal imaging equipment.

Carrying out tasks requires the sniper to be in excellent physical shape, to know the area of ​​the terrain where the task is to be carried out, to be able to make decisions quickly and to master methods of camouflage in different terrain. Also, before each task, servicemen must calculate the amount of ammunition and equipment necessary for the task.
