🇷🇺🇺🇱🇦Laros 2024 joint Russian-Laotian drills kicks off in Primorye region

18.09.24 A solemn opening ceremony of the Laros 2024 joint Russian-Laotian exercise was held at the parade ground of the Sergeyevsky Combined Arms training ground.

Command representatives (Eastern Military District), combined arms elements of the MD, and servicemen of both countries attended the ceremony.

Major General Sergey Bobrov, representing the command, wished the participants success and efficient implementation of all scheduled combat training activities.

At the parade ground, national flags of Russia and Laos were hoisted. Moreover, the training ground heard national anthems of the both states. Servicemen of the Eastern MD and Lao People's Army marched in unison on the parade ground.

During the exercise, servicemen of the Lao People's Army will practise all stages of operations in unified combat formation with units of the Eastern Military District.

On the eve, Russian military transport aviation (Aerospace Forces) delivered personnel of the Lao People's Army to the Knevichi airport located in Vladivostok. The Russian servicemen traditionally greeted the guests with bread and salt.
