Devs Who Can't Code #5 - Building the UI

Welcome to the fifth episode of Devs Who Can't Code!

In this series, we embark on a mission to prove that you don't need to be a coding wizard to build apps, now with the boundless capabilities of artificial intelligence, anyone can be a developer.

Join us as we explore the tools and techniques that enable us to design, develop, and deploy apps without traditional coding skills, using AI-powered development. By demystifying the coding process and showcasing the endless possibilities of AI, we hope to inspire a new wave of DIY developers to turn their ideas into reality.

In this episode we are developing an application that runs as a small window or sidebar on the desktop, where users can drag and drop files or folders into a drop zone. Below the drop zone, a list of "tinyapps" will be available to perform various functions, starting with Python-based tools. Examples include archiving, file format conversions, and AI-driven tasks like generating captions or images. The goal is to streamline workflows by enabling quick, automated processes through these single-purpose apps.
