Burns & Allen (Gracie For President)-Feb. 28 & Mar. 6, 1940

In these stressful times, I want to take you back to 1940. This was a more saner time period. 1940 was a presidential election year and comedian Gracie Allen threw her hat into ring to run for president. This is the start of a series of programs that promoted her, which I will be presenting. This was a time of gentle humor. Enjoy two back to back shows from Feb. 28, & March 6, 1940. I wonder if FDR was a little worry about his new competitor.
