Lights go out in Ecuador as country faces power crisis

Ecuador's military patrolled the streets of Quito on Wednesday night as the government implemented a nationwide blackout for preventive maintenance on the country's transmission facilities and distribution networks. It comes ahead of a series of planned power cuts next week. Emma Jehle reports.
