In this video, I share a valuable lesson from my recent experience trading gold (XAU/USD) on the forex market. Initially, I planned to enter a buy trade, but after analyzing recent candle formations, I decided to follow the trend and switch to a sell trade.

I took a sell position in my real account but set a very tight stop-loss. Unfortunately, the market quickly hit my stop-loss. Shortly after, the market moved downwards as I anticipated. To avoid missing out, I re-entered the trade using my paper trading account, this time with a proper stop-loss and target profit (TP).

The trade went smoothly, staying in profit from the start and hitting the TP without any pullbacks. Reflecting on this, I realized that if I had set a slightly larger stop-loss in my real account, I could have captured significant profits.
