SLIPSPACE DRIVE Takes on the Toughest Mountain Roads!

In this pivotal fourteenth mission of our Halo Wars series, the crew of the Spirit of Fire makes a bold decision to prevent the Covenant from gaining control of a powerful fleet of Forerunner ships hidden inside the Shield World. Realizing the catastrophic threat these ships pose, Captain Cutter orders a daring plan: to remove the FTL drive from the Spirit of Fire and detonate it inside the sun, destroying the entire system—and the Forerunner fleet with it.

Initially, the UNSC attempts to transport the FTL drive using dropships, but the mission takes a dangerous turn when Covenant forces shoot down the dropships, forcing the operation to shift to the ground. Our objective now becomes a race against time, as we must escort the massive FTL drive hauler up a perilous mountain path to the target location. Covenant forces are everywhere, and we have to manage a series of intense ground battles as we defend the hauler from enemy attacks.

This mission is packed with strategic gameplay as we organize defenses, plan the route, and repel wave after wave of Covenant attackers. Escort missions are never easy, and the stakes in this one couldn't be higher as the survival of the UNSC and the galaxy hangs in the balance. With the Covenant determined to stop us, every move counts in this high-stakes battle to deny them the Forerunner fleet.
