I did NOT expect the punch to the emotional gut that this film would end up being. This is my review for the coming-of-age film starring Aubrey Plaza and Maisy Stella that tell the story of Elliott and the difficult but beautiful things she learns about herself and life in general during her last summer at home before leaving for college.
