I recently received a response to one of my written questions, asking for the updated cost of the so-called "buyback” program for #firearms better known as the latest boondoggle.
The response shows that Public Safety has now spent $56.1 million. As well, the RCMP has spent just over $11 million – for a grand total of $67.2 million!
How is this possible for a #gun confiscation program that doesn’t even exist?
This incompetent and wasteful NDP-Liberal govt has no respect for taxpayers, and no respect for law-abiding gun owners.
But they’ve got plenty of regard for outside consultants, though! So far, consultants have gotten almost $11.5 million of the $67 million spent.
