What do Libertarians believe? Why do they hate roads?

In this video, I respond to a common criticism aimed at Libertarians: the claim that we are uninformed. The truth is, understanding and adopting Libertarian principles requires a level of independent research and critical thinking that goes beyond the mainstream political discourse. Libertarianism is not a widely popular philosophy like Republicanism or Democratic ideals, so we often have to dig deeper to grasp its core principles and values.

One key point I cover in this response is the significant difference between Libertarian economic thought and that of Republicans and Democrats. While both major U.S. political parties subscribe to Keynesian economics—favoring government intervention in the economy during downturns—Libertarians embrace the Austrian School of Economics, which promotes free markets, individual liberty, and minimal government intervention.
