How to mount a-head ("threadless") stem and set the headset bearing preload.

NOTE: for carbon stems (and parts in general), it is very important to use the optimal torque when tightening bolts.

NOTE: (again, to avoid any damage) - for carbon stems (and parts in general), it is very important to use the optimal torque when tightening bolts.
DO NOT use carbon mounting paste for mounting stem to the fork steering column.
