Demon Slayer season 1 episode 1

Demon Slayer Season 1, Episode 1, titled "Cruelty," introduces Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted boy living with his family in the mountains. One day, after selling charcoal in a nearby village, he returns home to find that his entire family has been slaughtered by demons, except for his sister, Nezuko. However, Nezuko has been transformed into a demon herself. Despite her new form, she shows signs of retaining her humanity. As Tanjiro tries to save her, they are confronted by a demon slayer named Giyu Tomioka, who spares Nezuko after seeing her protect her brother. This event sets Tanjiro on a journey to become a demon slayer and find a way to turn Nezuko back into a human.
