Oil is the lynch pin in our economy

We have to have cheap energy. Oil is our economies life blood. Everything run on oil as far as the economy goes. Tractors on the farms. Trucks to haul raw material to the factories and warehouses and trucks to haul everything to the consumers. Of course the consumers need oil to drive their cars to work to perform all these tasks. What's so hard to figure out here. So when the price of oil is up then everything between the start of this process and the end with the consumer will cost more.
