The Gospel of Matthew Ch 26

Jesus establishes the Holy supper. Jesus took the bread, blessing it, broke it and gave it his disciples, and said, “Take and eat; this is my body.” He then took the cup, gave thanks, gave it to them and said, “Drink it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf for the forgiveness of sin. This night all of you will have your faith shaken, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will disperse.’” Take heed, bad company leads to sin; those who needlessly thrust themselves into it, may expect and be insnared, as Peter was.
