Evacuations by digger and boat as floodwaters invade Polish town

While volunteers and emergency workers raced to secure river banks along the Oder in Poland on Tuesday, for Lewin Brzeski it was too late, as the stricken town was completely under water. Drone footage showed the extent of the flooding as emergency services drove speedboats down the flooded streets evacuating people to safety.
