Vintage Cookbook Exploration #2 Blueberry Grunt

Blueberry Grunt:
1 qt (4 cups) Blueberries (I used 3 pears with skins on)
1/4 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar

Dumplings:
1 Cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Sugar
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 Tablespoons Shortening (nope, I only use butter)
1/2 Cup Milk (nope, I used about 3/4 Cup Heavy Cream)

Place Pears in water in a skillet that has a lid and simmer with Sugar and Pumpkin Pie Spice (1 teaspoon) while making Dumplings.

Add Flour first into food processor, then cut up butter to fit processor (Ninja), then add all other Dry ingredients and pulse until butter is mixed in well. Add all this to a nice sized bowl and add Cream-you may need to add more cream to make sure there isn't much dryness to the biscuits.
