Governor DeSantis Vows Florida Will Lead Investigation Into Second Failed Assassination Attempt on Trump

In the wake of the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump,
Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Sunshine State will not rely on the federal government
to investigate the incident.

In an X post Sunday night,
DeSantis wrote that Florida will take charge of looking into the matter,
stating that the American people deserve the truth.
