أفاد المجلس الدولي لمسلمي الهند (ICIM) أن حوالي 350 مسجدًا تم هدمها منذ عام 1992، وأن 40 ألف مسجد آخر في جدول أهداف قوات الهندوتفا. وبالأمس تم هدم مسجد في ولاية أتر برديش دون أي إنذار مسبق، مما ترك المصلين في حالة صدمة. ويربط المجلس الدولي لمسلمي الهند هذه الأعمال باستراتيجية أوسع نطاقًا لمنظمة آر إس إس لمحو تاريخ الإسلام والقضاء على وجود الإسلام في الهند.
