Posted • September 17, 2024: Judge finds woman accused of stabbing a 3-year-old boy to death and injuring his mother outside an Ohio supermarket incompetent to stand trial. Judge John Russo ruled that Bionca Ellis, 33, from Cleveland, will remain hospitalized indefinitely and could eventually stand trial if she improves. Ellis allegedly attacked Julian Wood, 3, and his mother, Margot Wood, at a Giant Eagle grocery store in North Olmsted on June 3. She followed the Woods into the parking lot and, in a swift attack, stabbed Julian twice before walking away. Julian later died at the hospital. Margot Wood sustained a shoulder wound while trying to protect her son during the attack and was treated at the hospital.
