Call Of Sentinels | Greek Mythology Meets Bullet Hell Survival

In this episode I'm checking out a new Fantasy Defense Game called Call Of Sentinels. This game was developed and published by A17 Games and is their breakout title. The game is a mix of Survival Game and Bullet Hell shooter with fast paced action, hand drawn graphics, and a roguelike inspired progression system

Call Of Sentinels takes place in a Fantasy World inspired by Greek Mythology, where the player takes control of a group of champions called the Sentinels, who take part in a never ending wars between the gods. You will engage in a series of battles across arenas packed with hordes of bloodthirsty monsters. In addition to battling back the hordes, you will also need to complete the Trails Of The Sentinels, which are tasks mandated by the gods where you can earn their favour, thus accessing powerful upgrades needed to survive an ever escalating challenge.

In addition to dozens of arenas the game boasts a robust upgrade system, with the games roguelike mechanics allowing you to earn money to purchase hundreds of upgrades. However the greatest strength of game is its balanced difficulty, which offers a more forgiving experience compared to similar defense and bullet hell titles. Although Call Of Sentinels is A17s first title, it is a quality budget Defence Game, excellently priced at only $12.
