AR Guy VS AK Guy: Assassin Edition

With a new Trump assassination attempt this past weekend, it's time to examine the long-held question - AR guy versus AK guy.
In all seriousness, I realize the shooter in Florida at Trump's golf club was using an SKS and not an AK-47, but come one, they call it an AK-47 style rifle, so I'm bending it a bit.
I take a look at some of the known circumstances with the latest shooting and make some comparisons to the assassination attempt in Butler, PA where Trump was actually shot. It does not appear the would-be assassin even got off a shot this time.
