Senator JD Vance Remarks Faith and Freedom Dinner

2024 Republican vice presidential nominee Senator JD Vance (OH) recalled the moment he learned of the second assassination attempt of former President Trump during remarks at the annual Georgia Victory Dinner of the Faith & Freedom Coalition in Atlanta. The senator called for the rhetoric on the campaign trail to be turned down and vowed to do his part to ease tensions. Prior to the senator’s remarks, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp gave remarks in which he endorsed former President Donald Trump saying, “We have to take control of the U.S. Senate and send Donald Trump back to the White House.
