Novi father accused of driving Super Drunk with young children in the car

A suspected drunk driver from Novi allegedly crashed his car and left his two kids on the side of the road while he ran away. Police say 32-year-old Chad Hewitt blew twice the legal limit once he was caught over the holiday weekend. Branch County Sheriff deputies say a family member picked the kids up on the side of the road and took off while police were still searching for Hewitt.
