Kevin Smith is back with his latest the 430 movie which was a huge breath of fresh air delightful even amongst the Bevy of Blockbusters we've gotten lately and it's a surprisingly personal and emotional story because it's about you know the love for movies movie theaters the story is pretty straightforward it's the mid 80s you know a 16-year-old and his friends go and spend the whole day at the movie theater trying to sneak into R-rated movies hanging out with their crushes and other Shenanigans throughout the day all of it just feels right the summer setting friends Coming of Age movie theaters First Love he I was feeling nostalgic for this even though it's a semi autobiographical story from Smith's own teen years and almost like this origin story for clerks so Kevin Smith fans you're going to No Doubt find some like nice tasty nuggets of lore from his earlier years but for me it was a feel-good 90minut slice of life story hitting on these wholesome Coming of Age beats funny gags Jabs at big studios and really just a love for the movie theater
