A WIN FOR STUART AGAINST THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

Today in the state administrative tribunal Stuart Chapman won his case against the police commissioner here in WA.

The member agreed the police were deliberately delaying his permit application approvals, were NOT sufficiently expeditiously approving his protest permits. She was not pleased the police failed to keep proper permit record keeping and failed to have proper permit management policies in place.

The police have now been ordered to approve in 2 days a protest application which formed the basis of the case.
