The ISF bond plays a vital role in the filing process by incentivizing the accurate and complete filing of the Importer Security Filing. It builds trust between the importer and CBP and provides financial protection for both parties. Importers have two options to obtain an ISF bond: a single transaction bond for single imports and a continuous bond for frequent importers. Licensed customs brokers can assist in obtaining and renewing the ISF bond.
