JESUS Is The LIGHT of GOD (The Way, The Truth, & The Life)

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

"See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me."
(Isaiah 49:16)(NKJV)

"4 In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not suppressed it...
9 This was the true light, which gives light to everyone entering the world. 10 He was in the world — the world came to be through him — yet the world did not know him.
11 He came to his own homeland, yet his own people did not receive him.
12 But to as many as did receive him, to those who put their trust in his person and power, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 not because of bloodline, physical impulse or human intention, but because of God."

"..From the cross to the grave; from the grave to the sky; LORD we lift your name on high." excerpts from a praise & worship song we used to do quite a bit years ago; one worth singing especially today & yet because it's considered "old" by many - they simply won't do it because it's not "contemporary". But Is It?! I would say NO; in fact I would say it's something we need to acknowledge more readily today than ever before & most especially since there seems to be so many in the church who consider much of the Bible 'outdated' & are doing their best to contemporize it to fit todays' "culture".

Without the message of the cross, there would be no redemption; without the message of The LIGHT of God, those who choose to disregard His LIGHT are destined to remain in the darkness. I don't know about you; but, I CHOOSE THE LIGHT OF GOD! Amen & Shalom!
