Ej Antoni: Harris’s Tax Plan Is ‘Essentially the Left Hand Not Knowing What the Right Hand Is Doing’

LINE: “What are your thoughts, we haven’t really gotten too much farther along as the game of trying to drag out further specifics from Vice President Harris continues. But what did you make of what she had to say in the first solo interview yesterday?”
ANTONI: “Well, as far as increasing the tax credit to small businesses, let’s not forget she wants to also increase tax rates, she wants to increase marginal tax rates, she wants to increase net investment taxes. So this is essentially the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing and there’s no reason to believe it wouldn’t be a complete Wash for businesses in other words they would not be better off because while they are while less of their income is being taxed it is being taxed at a higher rate.”
