WHO Director General dr. Tedros about pandemic agreement

"The mpox outbreak is another reminder, if any were needed, of the critical need for a legally binding international agreement to ensure a coordinated and equitable response to pandemics...I urge all member states of our continent to engage actively in the work of the international negotiating body, INB, and to complete those negotiations by the end of this year."
