The Gospel of Matthew, Jesus' Opposition

Jesus faced opposition from many different kinds of people during His earthly ministry. The Day of Debates in Chapters 22-23 provides examples of many internal groups (among the Jewish people) who were against Him. Jesus also experienced antagonism from outside the Jewish people. The opposition often came after Jesus had done something obviously good. Jesus' followers today may face opposition in similar ways, as the first disciples did.
