❗️Russian troops in the Kursk

❗️Russian troops in the Kursk region are going into battle wearing camouflaged chevrons of the Kursk-Root icon.

⚡️Русское воинство в Курской области идёт в бой в шевронах Курской-Коренной иконы.

The 729-year-old Kursk icon is currently touring Australia. Russian soldiers on the front lines in Kursk have made repeated requests for the holy icon to be brought to Kursk so it may be with the Russian army and people at this time.

So far, the Australian and New Zealand Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia has provided no response.

According to the Australian Diocesan website the miracle working Kursk icon is scheduled to tour Australia till the 22nd of October.

Diocesan council member Deacon Bill Konstantinidis who is also the Chief Underwriting Officer, APAC at Cover-More Group has previously sought to "prevent the Kursk-Root icon from being used for Russian propaganda purposes". Other members of the Diocesan council include Larissa Kotlaroff who works as Director Governance at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW).
