Don't ever forget this: This is the most frightening part about the modern liberal. See, we're all God-fearing patriots in this room, so you have a built-in emergency brake on your behavior, right? Your values don't come from the Constitution; they're only protected by it. Your values come from God, with a capital G.

That's a different power. But it creates an asymmetric war for us, and you should never forget this. Because of that emergency brake—God—there are things you won't do to other people. You just won't. You won't go and punch Tucker Carlson or me in the face. Not because someone told you not to, but because God has imbued you with a sense of values.

And you just won't do it. The modern secular liberal has no emergency brake at all. When socialists talk about the ends justifying the means, they're not kidding. The means mean nothing to them. So political violence, for them, is totally justifiable because there's no moral compass, no emergency brake.

If they say, "If we put shock troops in the streets, we'll own the streets, scare the hell out of the conservatives, and engage in heckler's vetoes so they won’t even speak out," then how is that not a win for them? In their perverse minds, that calculus makes perfect sense. It's their credo. It's how they live.

You just have to understand it, or you'll always get beaten by it.
